The Lifeplan

We can turn to God for Salvation because....

Do you have a plan for your life? Do you know God has a plan just for you to save you from sorrow? Do you know that God loves you so much he sent his only Son to save you from the penalty of sin?

The story of God's love is recorded in the Holy Bible, the Lord's Word of Life for all people! In fact, his Son, Jesus, also loves us all so much that He was crucified and died on the Cross at Calvary to save us because....

....We are all sinners

  • For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23
  • If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us - 1 John 1:8

....There is a penalty for sin

  • For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord - Romans 6:23
  • He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God - John 3:18

....We cannot save ourselves

  • Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost - Titus 3:5
  • For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all - James 2:10

....Salvation has been provided

  • For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast - Ephesians 2:8-9
  • For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life - John 3:16
  • Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me - John 14:6

....The conditions are simple

  • You must confess
    • If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness - 1 John 1:9
    • That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved - Romans 10:9
  • You must repent
    • I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish - Luke 13:3
  • You must believe
    • And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house - Acts 16:31
    • That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved - Romans 10:9

....Now is the time for you to make a decision

  • And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD - Joshua 24:15
  • For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation - 2 Corinthians 6:2

If you have not yet received Jesus as your personal Saviour, we hope and pray that God will bind whatever spirit has kept the Truth of His Word from your heart. If you have thought that this world has been difficult, I tell you this- hell and eternal separation from the LORD is an unimaginable number of times worse!

Now is the time for decision, while you may sit there undisturbed with your video screen. Perhaps no one else is around. God created the universe and all that is in it- rest assured that He knows your mind and what you want to say and do. Ask forgiveness for your sin (which you now know you can never escape alone), and accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, believing that He died to save YOU.

New believers should gladly share their faith in Jesus!

Now, go and tell a Christian friend (yes, you likely know several) what you have done. You have now begun the most wonderful and beautiful adventure ever to be known on this earth!

  • Tell others about your faith in Christ Jesus
    • Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven - Matthew 10:32-33
  • Join a local church which follows the New Testament
    • Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved - Acts 2:47
  • Tell others the Story of God's love and Salvation
    • Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. - Matthew 28:19-20
