What is the truth about God?

Who can I honestly trust to tell me?

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." Genesis, chapter 1, verses 1 through 3.

God is God, the Creator of the entire universe and every infinitely small particle found in anything and everything. Only He decides where each bit and part is to be throughout time. He is the great "I AM," Who created all of us as well. We were made for His good pleasure, in His likeness, for His glory.

He is omnipotent, all-knowing, all capable, everlasting, the single originator of love and all good things. There is no one, no force, no power, nothing whatsoever that He does not stand above. Only God is God; there is none other like Him.

For many people, maybe the most important thing to know is this: God is not optional. Yet many people still choose not to believe in Him. But it is His will that is done on earth and in heaven - not ours.

Yes, we are born with the wonderful gift of free will, which comes from God. How many people never understand that our power to choose for ourselves comes from Him? Free will allows us to make our own choices about things - and all the choices we make ultimately reveal His truth and glory.

May the holy Spirit of God lead you to search the Bible for His truth as you seek Christian believers to help you in the journey of discoveries of His love.
