Scriptures from the Holy Bible, King James (Authorised) Version of 1611
Isaiah, chapter 51, verse 6

6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

Holy Bible -- King James Version

Selah (Pause, and consider these things)
By Leonard L Hamilton Jr, Encouraging Words Ministries

Isaiah says many things about the Kingdom of God; inspiring, encouraging, revealing, alarming- lots of -ings about what has been and what will be. Look to the heavens; consider the Lord Who dwells there, caring for and watching us below. Look around where you stand, at things about; consider the evil of this world (which shall surely perish) and the entrapment that steals souls longing for love.

The time to obtain heaven for everyone is slipping away; at what time will it become too late? This age shall pass, lost and forgotten, discarded like a moth-eaten garment that has outlived usefulness, but the King of Heaven and His righteousness shall never be diminished nor removed. And we, as children of a loving God and Father, will ever be forever with Him.

Your Invitation

The Christmas Season. For me, the season is drenched in sober comtemplation of an act of daring and love that are only exceeded by the celebration of the risen Christ at Easter. To think of God watching from above, His angels and Holy Ghost ministering to us unceasingly, waiting for each of us to accept His free gift of grace- well, it is completely overwhelming at times. Now is the time of Christ; now is the hour of salvation available to man. Share His love, tell His story to any and all who will listen this holiday. Home, in the comfort and warmth of family, is one place certain to offer opportunity. Workman, His fields await!

I wish the peace and happiness and salvation of Christ Jesus for you always. Amen.
