Scriptures from the Holy Bible, King James (Authorised) Version of 1611
1 Peter, chapter 4, verses 14-16

14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

Holy Bible -- King James Version

Selah (Pause, and consider these things)
By Leonard L Hamilton Jr, Encouraging Words Ministries

Good/evil; light/dark; up/down; yes/no- you get the idea, I'm sure. There is always a conflicting view, purpose, concept (whatever!) that can be matched to everything in this world.
Do you believe in, live for, walk in Christ? Know that you will experience everything from mild amusement to possibly deathly acts from those who recognize God in you- and that's alright, for Jesus has told us to expect such from unbelievers; but God is glorified when we suffer in His Name and He will see us through any and all encounters.
But have you or I been guilty of evil, none of which is of God, not from Christ our Lord? Our suffering then is our own, and there are none to ease our pain and burden. God is not honored in any way by our sin. Sin cannot be looked upon by Holy God (remember the Cross?). Our suffering then is our own, and the shame thereof, and there is neither honor nor glory.
But if we suffer as Christians (and we will, believe me), then our suffering is as glory and honor to God, and ourselves. There is no shame in loving a loving Father, a Lord Who has claimed us as His own forever.

Your Invitation

There are really only two ways to live life: as a rebel, an outcast, bent for hell and lost forever; or as a child of a loving God, cherished, nourished, and preserved forever in His Kingdom and Love! Accept the free gift of grace offered by God through His Son, Christ Jesus, and know happiness and peace eternally. Believe in Christ, and determine to live (forever!) for Him.
The only alternative is to suffer and mourn in hell, eternally, the loss of the greatest gift you could ever know. I wish peace and happiness for you always- in Jesus.
