Scriptures from the Holy Bible, King James (Authorised) Version of 1611
Book of Revelation, chapter 1, verses 1 to 3

1 THE Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Holy Bible -- King James Version

Selah (Pause, and consider these things)
By Leonard L Hamilton Jr, Encouraging Words Ministries

So, how many times must we hear before we take heed of what God has said? Does not the terse message of verse 3 make sufficient comment on much that we are to do and how we live? Consider the things that have affected your life recently. Read these three verses again. Are you yet waiting to undertake your Great Commission in Christ?

Your Invitation

"What good is it that a man may gain the whole world, yet lose his soul?" What is more important to you than your salvation in Christ? Without Him, we are lost. Without Him, those around us whom we dearly love are lost. What circumstance is required for the words of this passage to take effect? Today is the time; where you are is the place; Jesus is waiting patiently for you to invite Him into your heart as its Master and Lord. His grace is sufficient for all your sins. Welcome Him into your life, profess Him before others, and take His message of hope and life to all and everyone you know ----- for the time is at hand!
